Something you may not know about Thai women is that they generally admire men who are caring, sensitive and responsible. Wait a minute... that’s what all women want! • Respect all images of Buddha.
• Dress properly when visiting a temple. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. If you're wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks. Do not wear all black.
• Remove your shoes before entering a temple.
• Treat monks with the highest respect.
• Try to maintain the peace and serenity of the temple by keeping calm at all times.
• Lower your body slightly when passing other people

DON’T:

• Cross your legs in the presence of a monk.
• Show public displays of affection in public, especially inside temple grounds.
• Take Buddha images out of the country. It is against the law to take or send Buddha images out of the country without special permission.
